Sometimes, I do not understand the nature of humans. When there is a chance to achieve Enlightenment and reaping the benefits of freedom and democracy, they do not see it. All that Man sees is power. We thirst for power, disregarding morals, ethics and life. Fellow countrymen murdering their own countrymen in the name of a power struggle.
And now we see the demise of a great stateswoman. An able politician that would promise a brighter future for Pakistan. An advocate of democracy and the liberal ideals. She was to aid her fellow countrymen to escape the grasp of the totalitarian Military government. However, her time ran out. Instead, people do not see in depth. People only see flaws. And death came upon her, despite the fact that the elections were about to be held next month.
All in the touch of a woman.
